New Small Press Publisher, Old Big Press Attitude

Newcastle-Upon Tyne comic creators Paul Regan and Gavin McPhail have set up publishing company OG Comics to take their comic from 150 sales of the first issue in just one shop, Travelling Man in Newcastle, to the whole world. Trenchfoot is about "a group of super-villains hiding out in Cumbria". With a new book Demonville on the way. They may be small press but they appear to have grasped the ideas that have made publishers wealthy as they expand their line.

OG will retain the rights to the character and storylines, while the artist will be able to sell their artwork.

Look at the corporate wannabees. Can't you hear them scream "We wanna be Scott Rosenberg! We wanna be Scott Rosenberg!"
