It was a busy and varied weekend in the friendly confines of the Bleeding Cool Universe, with lots of wondrous and imaginative stuff happening on both the comics and film sides, and… the Twilight Zone intro popped into my head just now, but never mind that for the moment, because the weekend was led — by a rather amazing margin — by a post about a lost Jerry Lewis film.

Perhaps the lost film of the last 50 years, The Day The Clown Cried was directed by its star, Jerry Lewis, way back in 1972. It's the story of a clown in a Nazi concentration camp and is most notorious for the last scene of its screenplay, and presumably of the film as shot.
