The Shortlist Has Been Announced For the British Science Fiction Association Awards

The British Science Fiction Association (BSFA) has announced the shortlist for its annual BSFA Awards for works first published in 2013. The BSFA has been running the awards since 1970, and was formed in 1958 when a group of leading authors, publishers, booksellers and fans decided that Britain needed an organization to encourage science fiction in every form. The BSFA has been running the awards since 1970, awarding the first Best Novel award to John Brunner's 1969 novel Stand on Zanzibar. Robert Holdstock, Terry Pratchett , Dan Simmons and Ian McDonald have received this prestigious award in the past.

Now, we have received the shortlist for works published during 2013.

Best Novel

The winners will be announced in a ceremony at the Satellite4 Eastercon Convention at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Glasgow on Sunday, the 20th of April, 2014.
