Thursday Runaround – Han's Shot First

StarWatch: Conventions, whether comics, sci-fi, or fantasy, usually end up in the bar. Well, for Cyphan in Illinois at the end of the month, the organisers are bringing the bar into the convention. And set dressing it as the Chalman's Cantina of Mos Eisley from the movie Star Wars. They describe it;

In CYPHAN's continuing efforts to create new and exciting fan experiences, we have contracted with Hollywood prop shop, ACME DESIGN Inc. to recreate the Star Wars Cantina! Oh yes we did!

The Cantina will be open throughout regular Con hours, and be serving alcohol via a hotel staffed cash bar during normal drinking hours on Friday and Saturday. Interact with the "colorful" Cantina bar staff, play a game of cards with a Viper pilot, work a deal with a smuggler, or hire a bounty hunter for the JAIL n' BAIL… your time in the Cantina is whatever you want it to be!

Better watch your step in there…
