Tuesday Trending Topics: One Shot To Rule Them AllAnd it's a double… or the number of them in shops is being doubled, I mean.  There's a drinking joke there but it eludes me just this second.  But Point One does sound like a must-read book, and perhaps material for a few timeline posts to come.

It's a long time since I read Frank Miller's Year One miniseries. It was one of those comics, along with Miller's original Dark Knight books and seminal Alan Moore works such as Watchmen, which really kicked the idea of superhero stories for adults into the mainstream.

A Captain America Blu Ray Deleted Scene

This would have been a rather effective scene in the Captain America movie. Right from the glory of the American propaganda shows, straight into World War II trenches with Dum Dum Dugan and Bucky Barnes being blasted by Hydra goons.
