Who Wants To Be An IDW Editor?Bleeding Cool understands that IDW Senior Editor, Andy Schmidt, who worked on IDW's Hasbro books such as GI Joe and Transformers… and been stoleb by Hasbro. He'll be working out of their Rhode Island headquarters.
Which has left IDW with a problem. They need a Senior Editor to step into Andy's shoes.

They need someone, and I quote "with very strong editorial background as well as someone familiar with the comic industry, preferably someone who has worked in the comics industry already. Even better is someone who has experience working with creators and licensors and has a myriad of strengths that would be applicable to working on monthly comics (strong attention to detail, strong proofreading, good story sense, ability to meet deadlines and enforce deadlines, good with creators and other such things we will discuss with candidates)."

So there you go. IDW are based in San Diego, California, whcih is where you'll need to be. Which always comes in handy in July. And they need someone to start in June.
