Saga Heading For A Sell Out
The story right now is Saga, the new Bryan K Vaughn and Fiona Staples comic from Image.
The chart below shows the top twenty-five advance reorder comics from mid-February, measuring extra orders past the due order date, and reflect sudden increased interest in a title before it is released. And right now it's all about Saga.
There's also increased interest in Suicide Squad #7 – the sixth issue of which suddenly got a second print on the back of its The Hunt For Harley Quinn storyline, and it looks like this issue may go the same way.
Also of note is renewed interest in the Dawn Of The Jedi comic from Dark Horse, clearly the first issue sold very well and retailers have rushed to up their orders on the second issue, as well as with Image's Thief Of Thieves and Peter Panzerfaust.
Fantastic Four and Wolverine And X-Men also appear to be getting a bit of a bump – anniversary readers may be sticking around for the former, and those who saw Jason Aaron's book as second to Uncanny X-Men may also be changing their mind.
The second chart measures reorders of comics after they've shipped, and while mostly full of graphic novels, Batgirl #6 and Deadpool #50 make a strong showing.
