The New Story Pages In We3 Hardcover
Today, DC/Vertigo publish the We3 hardcover by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely. And, in order to justify the hardcover price, they have added ten new story pages and a load of sketches in the back.
Four pages have been added to the first issue, giving us a new introduction to Doctor Rosanne Berry, in which we discover a constant presence to the keeping and training of animals in her personal life…
As well as a recent loss in her life.
Then in the third issue, there are six more pages. The first two expanding the fight between the Rabbit and the Bulldog
And four more in which The Cat and The Dog come to terms with their cybernetic devices, decide that they are not part of them and remove them. With some more of that We3 inventive three dimensional artwork.
And lots and lots of sketches, including the news that originally the animal were designed as robotic bipeds.
We3 Deluxe Hardcover is out today for $25. It really is one of the best comic books and if you've never read it, I envy you.
