Kron Stone was the older half-brother of Miguel O'Hara, the Spider-Man of 2099. And who, quite coincidentally, bonded with the Venom symbiote who, over the centuries, had gained new acidic powers. Perfect for Kron to fridge Miguel's ex, Dana, with.

 

The symbiote then left Kron and merged with Roman The Sub Mariner who took off to the oceans. As Kron, affected by the suymnbiotes, had mutated into a scorpion-type creature. Who then attacks Spider-Man 2099 as the Scorpion.

Well, I understand that Venom 2099 is back. Kron or Roman, or someone new, I don't know. But I am told to keep an eye on this week's Spider-Man 2099 for further revelations…
