The Riddler is Triggered by Batman in Batman Universe #2 [Preview]

Batman Universe #2 hits stores next week from DC Comics, by "The Great One Brian Bendis" and Nick Derington. And over the next few days, DC Comics will provide EX-X-XCLUSIVE previews of Batman Universe and all their other comics to compliant media partner websites. Bleeding Cool, unfortunately, is neither compliant nor a partner. Some might argue we're hardly even media.

But we do have 3 pages from Batman Universe #2 ahead of its EX-X-XCLUSIVE debut, courtesy of a Mysterious Benefactor, in which we find a bloody-faced Riddler who, frankly, Batman feels is not living up to his usual standards…

But Riddler reveals that he's having trouble concentrating because he's triggered by Batman…

And that's fair enough because if we were a thematic criminal in a city where a guy in a batsuit stalks the night and beats up the mentally ill, we'd be pretty triggered upon seeing him ourselves.

Batman Universe #2 hits stores next Wednesday.
