NYCC Goss: Venom and Spider-Man Events for 2019

We hear that Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman's upcoming mini-Venom event is intended to start in May or June of 2019. The recent Venom series has been a huge hit for the publisher, even without the effects of the movie, as the series burns through multiple printings. Expect more focus and promotion to be aimed in its way from Marvel over the coming months. This really did seem to take the publisher by surprise.

Equally, Nick Spencer has planned a much bigger Amazing Spider-Man event for the autumn – but don't be looking for Spider-Marriage or Mephisto shenanigans. Just 'beyond crazy' stuff…

We ran a whole bunch of comic book gossip that spun out of New York Comic Con regarding DC Comics last week.
