X-Men, Cyclops, Wolverine, Deadpool, Hulk, Conan, More Reimagined as Asgardians for War of the Realms Variants

What if Cyclops and Wolverine were Asgardian warriors? What if the rest of the X-Men were? What about the Champions, the Hulk, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Deadpool, and even Conan the Barbarian? Ok, that last one isn't that far-fetched. Regardless, Marvel is letting us see what that may be like while artificially boosting sales of their comics without increasing actual readership with a series of 21 War of the Realms variant covers reimagining popular heroes as Asgardians. Artists such as Phil Noto, Khoi Pham, Patrick Zircher, Mike McKone, Carlos Pacheco, Olivier Coipel, Will Sliney, and more are taking part in the promotion.

Check out the press release, including a full listing of the titles that will get Asgardian War of the Realms variants, and some of the covers, below.

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events. Sadly, that prophecy was wrong. Oh, Jude Terror was right. For ten years. About everything. But nobody listened. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
