DOORMAN AT CHALLENGERS FLIERIf your name's not on the door at Challengers Comics in Chicago, you're not coming in.

During C2E2, Eliot Rahal and Daniel Kibblesmith are launching their new comic from Heavy Metal at Challengers Comics on Saturday March 20th.

They'll be signing copies of the first issue of the series at 7.30pm, followed by a standup comedy show fat 8pm featuring Tim Barnes, Stephen Winchell, Adam Quesnell and more.

No, me neither. Sure they're all fun though. Tickets are free…

Doorman #1 arrives in comic shops on March 16, two weeks earlier than scheduled and carries a price tag of $3.50.

Doorman tells the story of the intergalactic doormen who guard the portals between worlds. The series follows Henry Clay Waters, the Doorman of Earth who hasn't had an interstellar visitor in decades until… his last day on the job when an extraterrestrial assassin darkens his doorstep. Saved by the neurotic alien Detective Flower, the two must team up to solve the galaxy's biggest mystery or get killed trying!
