Wizard World Doubled Its Revenue In 2014 And Makes A Million

Wizard World 2014In 2014, Wizard World brought in $23,060,178 in revenue. This is over double their 2013 revenue of $11,186,134.

This is on the back of running seventeen events in the year, as opposed to nine in 2013, with an average revenue per show of $1,356,481.

With 2014 operating expenses increasing to $6,823,253 from $3,921,585, that's an increased revenue-per-show a reduced expense-per-show based on 2013's numbers.

And so the company's overall income from these events has increased from $343,506 to $1,468,162. A net income of $995,617 has given an income per share of $0.02, as opposed to 2013's net loss of $3,637,735 and loss per share of $0.09.

In 2015, Wizard World has launched a subscription service CONtv, will run 27 events, including new shows in Las Vegas, Pittsburgh, Ft. Lauderdale, and San Jose as well as its first show in China, if things keep going the way they are is this evidence that Wizard World is firmly back on the map?
