Wolverine Takes on Blade for Some Reason in Wolverine vs. Blade #1 This July

Because U demanded it? Marvel will publish a Wolverine vs. Blade one-shot this July, finally answering the question, what if Marvel let Marc Guggenheim write a Wolverine vs. Blade comic? Don't laugh. It's a question Marc Guggenheim has been asking for a decade, according to Monkeys Fighting Robots, where Marvel EX-X-XCLUSIVELY revealed the news.

This is a book that's been — not kidding — ten years in the making. I couldn't possibly be more excited for it to finally see publication. I think it's worth the wait.

Marc realizes he's the only that's been waiting, right? None of the rest of us knew about it until just now.

Artist Dave Wilkins is teaming with Guggenheim for the comic, and Matteo Scalera is doing a variant cover. Below is the description of the comic, which we'd argue is relatively self-explanatory.

Two of the deadliest hunters ever to have stalked the night face off! Wolverine vs. Blade — 'nuff said!

Look for Wolverine vs. Blade #1 in stores in July. Below is the main cover by Dave Wilkins.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
