You Can Now Stream Your Xbox One Onto Your Windows 10 Devices
Windows 10 official launch is less than two weeks away and I'm sure many of you are are already using an early version of the operating system. If you are and own an Xbox One, you can now try one of the cooler gaming centric features right now.
You can now stream Xbox One gameplay to all Windows 10 devices, including PC and tablets. As Xbox Wire point out, to take full advantage of this, follow these instructions to get going:
-
To get started, on your Xbox One console, go to Settings > Preferences > Allow game streaming to other devices and then install the latest version of the Xbox app on your Windows 10 PC or tablet. In the Xbox app on Windows 10, select Connect > + Add a device from the menu on the left side of the app, then select your Xbox One console. Attach a wired Xbox 360 or Xbox One controller to your Windows 10 PC or tablet. Then, go to Home > Recently Played to select an Xbox One game and then select Play from Console to start your streaming session.
- Now you can try streaming anywhere in your house, which I know is going to be very useful for a lot of people. My Xbox One and PC are right next to each other, so I won't get any use out of this, but if your console is in your living room and someone else wants to use the TV, you could still play from your own personal computer. This will solve a ton of arguments before they even happen.
