Dune Chinese Trailer Teases a Bunch of New Footage

Legendary and Warner Bros. really want Dune to be a hit, and while the early reviews are incredibly positive, that doesn't mean that the movie is going to be able to find an audience. These days, a film this big can't rely on the domestic box office alone to break even, let alone net a profit, but they also need to court the Chinese market as well. A new trailer has appeared online to help bring in the Chinese market, and it features a ton of new footage, including more of the giant sandworms.

Dune Summary: A mythic and emotionally charged hero's journey, "Dune" tells the story of Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, who must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people. As malevolent forces explode into conflict over the planet's exclusive supply of the most precious resource in existence—a commodity capable of unlocking humanity's greatest potential—only those who can conquer their fear will survive.
