J.J. Abrams Says News About The Portal Movie Will Be Coming Soon
Back at DICE 2013, J.J. Abrams announced he would be working with Valve to try and get a few movie project of theirs off the ground, with a focus on Half-Life and Portal. However, things went very quiet after that, and we have only heard the slightest peeps since then.
However, it seems we might be hearing something about the film very soon. Speaking to IGN, the director alluded that production on the film is actually very active right now. He said:
We have a meeting coming up next week with Valve, we're very active, I'm hoping that there will be a Portal announcement fairly soon
Game movies are all the talk right now, with more and more seeming to get the go ahead. I wouldn't be suprised if this recently just got fast tracked, and while I don't know what to expect from a Portal movie, I really want to see someone give it a go.
