The movies bought from the early film festivals are finally starting to drop, which is always a fun time of year. It means that some smaller films are looking to carve out a spot in the market in between all of the big blockbusters coming out as we head into fall. A film that is looking to do just that is My Old Ass which is such a great title. It's a movie looking to answer the age-old question: what would you tell a younger version of yourself, and what advice would you give them? In this film, thanks to some mushrooms, Elliott is given that chance, which may change her life. So we might also be dealing with some level of butterfly effect by the time the credits roll. The first trailer and images were released by Amazon and MGM today, and the film looks really cute. This will be opening opposite the remake of Speak No Evil and a new Blumhouse film and the weekend after Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.
