New Rambo Is Incoming With A New Actor In The Main Role
I'm not exactly sure that we need another Rambo film. The series was a classic in its specific genre and place in time, but I wonder how you make that unique in the modern era?
It seems we are going to find out though. The Hollywood Reporter are saying that Nu Image/Millennium Films are working on a reboot called Rambo: New Blood. This will cast a new actor in the role, wirh Brooks McLaren write and The Iceman's Ariel Vernon will be in the director's chair.
The producers say they want the character to be like 'James Bond', meaning they can cast the role as needed. It's not clear if Sylvester Stallone will be involved in any capacity, but you'd think if he was, the team would be shouting about it.
I don't really feel super jazzed about this, but hey. No point complaining until we actually have details. Let's hold out for those.
