Avatar: The Last Airbender: New Image Spotlights Aang, Katara & Sokka

Netflix & Showrunner Albert Kim released a new preview image from Avatar: The Last Airbender spotlighting Aang, Katara, and Sokka.

Over the past two days, Albert Kim (Sleepy Hollow, Nikita) has been sharing some insights into how his and Netflix's upcoming take on Avatar: The Last Airbender came to be. First up, Kim shared his initial feelings when he learned that original animated series creators Bryan Konietzko & Michael Dante DiMartino had stepped away from the project after two years over creative differences. In addition, Kim discussed how the Netflix series adjusted some of the animated series' storylines to fit a serialized drama format while other events were directly adapted. Following that, the executive producer/showrunner discussed not seeing M. Night Shyamalan's (Unbreakable, The Sixth Sense) 2010 take on the animated series. But for this go-around, we're actually getting a new look at the upcoming live-action series, with the following image spotlighting Gordon Cormier's Aang, Kiawentiio's Katara, and Ian Ousley's Sokka:
