The Flash Season 4: Catch Up On The Season Before The Crossover

With the Crisis on Earth-X crossover event taking place starting Monday, the CW has decided now is the time to catch up on episodes of Supergirl, Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Arrow. You can watch all of them on the CW App on your mobile device or on And they make a valid point, as both the app and the website only carry a certain number of episodes with the first two of each season already having been removed and the third episode about to go in three days.

To go with the push, they've released trailers for each series that includes footage from the already aired episodes and from the upcoming crossover event. With the below trailer for The Flash we are remind how the series has gone for a lighter tone — something more akin to the first season. With Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) returning from the Speed Force and leaving a lot of his built up guilt behind, he is ready to move on and make a life with Iris West (Candice Patton). But his return has created 12 new metahumans. Some are bad, like Kilg%re (Dominic Burgess), Hazard (Sugar Lyn Beard), and Black Bison (Chelsea Kurtz); some are questionable like the Weeper; and some are potentially good like Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer). All of these characters were manipulated into being by the season big bad, The Thinker (Neil Sandilands). Throw in The Mechanic (Kim Engelbrecht) and the episode with Blacksmith (Katee Sackhoff) and we've gotten a lot of really interesting new characters to go with the lighter attitude.

The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on the CW.
