"Love Boat Angels" was so much more than the fourth season premiere of ABC's flagship jiggle show, "Charlie's Angles". It was also mind-numbingly dull.

'Gotham' Season 5, Episode 9: All Rise for "The Trial of Jim Gordon" (PREVIEW)
My absolute favorite thing about Gotham during its final season is how little it cares about how you feel about what's going on. Gotham knows the story it wants to tell, and if you don't like it, well, you probably wouldn't have given it a chance anyway.
Introduce three new villains just to kill them in the same episode? Sure, Gotham's going to do that. Better to bring them on and kill them than never show them at all, right? (by the way, I'm really glad they did bring those characters on… Scarface was amazing!)
So far this season we've seen the genesis of Bane (Shane West), the introduction (and execution) of Magpie (Sarah Schennkan), The Ventriloquist (Andrew Sellon), and Jane Doe. Poison Ivy (Peyton List) can control plants now, and is hungry for revenge on clumsy, plant killing humans. Selina (Camren Bicondova) settled a score and redeemed herself to Bruce (David Mazouz). And finally, Jeremiah Valeska (Cameron Monaghan) took a plunge with destiny.
And then there's Bruce and Alfred's (Sean Pertwee) trip to the sewers of Gotham City, were I'm pretty sure we saw the beginning of Killer Croc. If it's not Croc, then Gotham has introduced another over-sized cannibal to the tunnels beneath the city!
And I didn't even get to Scarecrow, Mr. Freeze, and Firefly, who are off terrorizing the remnants of Gotham City in one way or another!
What's next? "The Trial of Jim Gordon" will likely have our favorite mustache-less lawman answering for his actions as he tried to keep some semblance of law and order in a city gone mad. This trailer makes it look like it's not going well for Gordon at all:

Ivy's back! And she brought Zsasz (the always delightful Anthony Carrigan) along for some trigger happy support! And poor Bruce is about to get his ass kicked. Again.
FOX will air "The Trial of Jim Gordan" on Thursday, March 7th! Don't miss it, I seriously doubt the Gotham writer's room is going to slow things down this close to the finale!
