Impact is Revamping Its Impact Plus Service This Week
Subscribers to Impact Wrestling's video-on-demand may notice an interruption of service, but it's only temporary and will result in an improved experience, according to a press release from the company. Ahead of this Saturday's Turning Point quasi-PPV, Impact Plus is switching to a new system that will apparently improve discoverability. Additionally, the new Impact Plus will include new original content and content curated by Impact stars.
The press release has the details:
IMPACT Plus is currently migrating to a new system as part of an overall product augmentation.
Subscribers may experience downtime during this period. This process will be completed shortly, and the brand-new IMPACT Plus will launch.
Standby for a brand-new IMPACT Plus – with improved discoverability, new Originals, content curated by your favorite IMPACT wrestler as well as monthly live events including this Saturday's TURNING POINT!
The Chadster is a big proponent of Impact Plus. I like to put it on and watch the Vince Russo era of TNA in the bedroom while I'm having alone time with my wife, Keighleyanne. I just feel like all the swerves, and Crash TV provide the kind of surprise and excitement that keeps a love life interesting, you know what I mean? The other night I was watching the TNA PPV, where Vince Russo unmasked himself as Mr. Wrestling III and formed the Sports Entertainment Extreme, or S.E.X., stable, and let me tell you, I finished about twice as fast as I usually do that night, so in roughly thirty seconds.
A monthly subscription to Impact Plus costs $7.99 per month, though you can get a discount if you pay for the subscription annually. Hopefully, any downtime doesn't last too long because just thinking about Vince Russo's reverse battle royal idea has got The Chadster very excited for Keighleyanne to get home from work today.
