Monster: Charlie Hunnam Set as Serial Killer Ed Gein for Season 3

Ryan Murphy announced that Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy, Criminal) will portray notorious serial killer Ed Gein in Monster Season 3.

Ryan Murphy isn't wasting any time getting the word out about the third season of the Netflix anthology series even before his and Ian Brennan's Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story hits Netflix screens. During a promotional event in Los Angeles for the second season on Monday evening, Murphy announced that Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy, Criminal) will star in the third season – with "Monster" set to focus on notorious serial killer Ed Gein.

Javier Bardem and Chloë Sevigny portray parents, Jose and Kitty Menendez, with newcomers Nicholas Alexander Chavez and Cooper Koch taking on the key roles of brothers Lyle and Erik Menendez – a family that had much more going on beneath the surface than their "picture-perfect" family facade could ever hide.
