One thing's for sure: AMC's NOS4A2 opened up its second season working under the assumption that everyone was up-to-speed because it put pedal-to-metal and floored it right out of the gate. With "Bad Mother," we watched as Vic's (Ashleigh Cummings) near-decade of "happy ending" go up in smoke in so many ways- while a new knife presented itself. We learned that Manx (Zachary Quinto) was completely, totally, and utterly dead. Like, scalpel-in-the-heart dead. That is until Bing (Olafur Darri Olafsson) found his heart. Now the lights of Christmasland are glowing again- which means a confrontation is looming. But not before we learn a little bit more about Manx himself, and in "Good Father" viewers are offered a look back at his earlier and happier times before it all went wrong- as you'll see in the following preview images and sneak preview:
NOS4A2's second season picks up eight years after the events of season one. Vic McQueen (Ashleigh Cummings) remains more determined than ever to destroy Charlie Manx (Zachary Quinto). Charlie, having faced his own mortality, emerges desperate for revenge against Vic. This time, he sets his sights on the person who means most to Vic – her eight-year-old son Wayne. The race for Wayne's soul sends Vic and Charlie on a high-speed collision course, forcing both to confront the mistakes of their pasts in order to secure a hold on Wayne's future.
