Disney PR is using Twitter very efficiently. They put out a post this morning announcing the premiere date and title change for the second season of Tangled: The Series. The new season will have the title Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure and will debut on June 24th at 8 a.m. on the Disney Channel. They also announced season 2 guest stars will include Carol Kane, Lil Red Howery, Yvonne Strahovsky, Britt Robertson, and former James Bond actor Timothy Dalton.
The series takes place between the Tangled movie and the short, Tangled Ever After, and features the voices of Mandy Moore, Zachary Levi, Eden Espinosa, Sean Hayes, Clancy Brown, Paul F. Thompkins, and M.C. Gainey. The focus of the first season followed Rapunzel as she acquainted herself with her parents, her kingdom, and the people of Corona. The 21-episode first season debut in March of 2017 and ran sporadically through January of 2018. The Tangled movie was released in November of 2010 while the short, Tangled Ever After, was released in March of 2017.
