Trix Are For Kids: DC Strikes Deal To Put Four-Issue Justice League Series In Cereal Boxes

DC Comics has been placing an increasing emphasis on marketing outreach in recent weeks, and the New York Times is reporting that's about to continue with a deal to put 12 million copies of a four-issue Justice League comic inside specially marked boxes of cereals such as Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Golden Grahams, Cheerios, Lucky Charms and Trix.

The comics will be 24 pages each with no ads, and will measure 5×7 inches, which is somewhat smaller than standard comic book size.  According to preview material available at a site set up for the promotion, creative teams include Scott Beatty and Christian Duce,  Paul Tobin and Derec Donovan, Doug Wagner and Christian Duce,  Joshua Williamson and Bruno Redondo, with covers by Dan Jurgens.

The promotion is scheduled take place in time for Halloween and run into November.
