For AMC's Preacher, A Black Tulip
Two days ago, Bleeding Cool ran a script review for the pilot episode of AMC's Preacher TV series. We noted some changes, how Jesse's congregation stays alive, how Sheriff Root and Arseface are part of Jesse's congregation… oh and there was the Quincannon connection we didn't mention.
The clips have been removed now at the request of Sony who are making the show for AMC. But one we kept was this one, based on its pure newsworthiness…
A very specific casting change from the comic book version.
But one that far fewer people than usual seem to have a problem with. Some, sure. but not as many as usual. Maybe it's because Tulip isn't a superhero fro the sixties. Maybe because she doesn't have a large range of action figures.
Just the one.
Or maybe it's that people are working out that, actually, it's probably fine. And it works.
Either that or they are too distracted getting upset about Spider-Man…
