Could Sharon Stone Play Firestar In Spider-Man Homecoming? Mindless Speculation…
Okay, this is an utter shot in the dark.
Sharon Stone was part of a feature in AARP which mentioned Sharon Stone's secret role in an unnamed Marvel film:
Meanwhile, Woodard and Stone are about to become very familiar to the highly sought-after comic-book-film crowd: Woodard's character is a villain in Marvel's anticipated Netflix series Luke Cage; Stone has been cast as a superhero — she'll only reveal that her secret power is heat — in a yet-to-be-named movie, also for Marvel.
Comics Alliance wonders what the secret power of heat may suggest, saying "There aren't many notable female heroes in the Marvel universe that have the power of heat. There's Sunpyre, but she's associated with the X-Men — and she's Asian. There's also Nikki, a character that was briefly part of the Guardians of the Galaxy team and had the power to withstand heat and ultraviolet radiation."
And they return to suspecting Stone will play Janet Van Dyne, against Michael Douglas' Hank Pym
But there's a bigger name character that they are forgetting. Firestar.
A mutant character, Den of Geek dismisses her as a result, as being a Fox Studios character.
Who, although a mutant, she first appeared in TV cartoon Spider-Man And His Amazing Friends. And so is either controlled by Marvel Studios or part of the Sony Spider-Man package. And now under Marvel Studios creative control as well.
Could she make an appearance in Spider-Man Homecoming?
Total, mindless, uninformed shot in the dark…
