To Bendis, His X-Artists?
From one of the same sources that named certain Marvel switcheroo creators, later confirmed by another source, comes the news of exactly who may be drawing Brian Bendis' books.
Based on past performance, I'd give this an amber light with just a hint of green.
New Avengers and Secret Invasion artist Leinil Yu and Avengers artist Brandon Peterson has been named on Uncanny X-Men – though of course Peterson has just been announced on DC's Phantom Stranger (oops, that's Brent Anderson) and Yu seems rather busy on Supercrooks. There may be wiggle time of course and I am not au fait with their schedules.
Then Mike Deodato, Bendis' creative partner on many an Avengers comic, has been named working on Bendis' other X-Men comic which will have a more cosmic flair, part of Bendis' cosmic relaunch of the Marvel Universe… emphasis on the word "universe" there.
And finally, after their work recently on Avengers, Walt Simonson and Brian Bendis have a new project in the works… what are the odds it will be a little cosmic in nature too?
But do remember, as ever, this could all be bunkum…
