Cover Variance: The Batman Inc Grant Morrison Bait And Switch

Batman Inc #12 was solicited with something unusual. A 1:25 variant cover drawn by Grant Morrison.

Yesterday, when the comic shipped, however, the cover was by Guillem March. And rather spoilerish if you squint…

No change notice was given to retailers, and the Diamond listing still states;

(NOTE: For every 25 copies of Batman Incorporated #12 ordered you may order 1 variant edition by Grant Morrison)

I know retailers who upped their orders considerably to receive these variant editions, though it's likely they will be made returnable under Diamond's terms if enough retailers question this…

So where has the Morrison cover gone? Will it be rescheduled for issue 13?
