Komico, The Comic Store They Tried To Burn Down, Celebrating Its 35th Anniversary

Two and a half years ago, less the two weeks before Christmas, the comic store Komico was hit by a massive fire that took out the block. It looked like the end for the oldest comic store in Montreal.

It wasn't. It moved locations, started afresh and bounced back.

And it is now celebrating its 35th Anniversary.

There are many sob stories in comic books. And for a time, this looks like it would join them. But it;s a tribute to the owner, staff and customers that it both survived and prospered.

Congratulations Komico. Here's to another thirty-five…
