Mr Oz Spelled Backwards Is Zor-M, And More Cryptographic Superman Speculation (SPOILERS)

Bleeding Cool has been running a theory for six weeks now that CBR suddenly managed to come to by themselves two days ago, that the mysterious Mr Oz from the Superman comics, who was given an intentional resemblance to Ozymandias of Watchmen, was actually the Pre-Crisis father of Superman, Jor-El.

Indeed, details from an upcoming issue of Action Comics #987 have been leaked to Bleeding Cool, in which Mr Oz does all but kill Metallo due to the threat the Kryptonite in his heart poses to Superman, taking the kryptonite — but not holding it. And then, tipping the Earth into repeated acts of wanton violence and destruction to destroy humanity.

So, yes, Mr. Oz spelled backwards is Zor-M. Could that be a Kryptonian reference? If not Jor-El, then another house or another generation? An alternate Superman where Supergirl was sent to Earth? Maybe the version of Superman or his father from the Watchmen universe?

Thoughts?

And a nod to Travis Pelkie from the Atomic Junk Shop.
