Today sees the publication of Action Comics #988 by Dan Jurgens, Ryan Sook and Hi-Fi Color, and Detective Comics #965 by James Tynion IV, Eddie Barrows, Eber Ferreira and Adriano Lucas. And both focus on the figure of Mr Oz, who has been haunting the DC Universe, stealing figures and imprisoning them. And recently revealed to be Superman's father Jor-El – if you believe his story.

… and had a very different life situation. Also means that he has been living here alongside Superman – both of them until that got merged, just not being very super, and having a very different upbringing than Superman got in Smallville.
