UPDATE: Robotech Site Goes Dark For The Death In Today's Robotech #4 (FULL SPOILERS)
Today sees the publication of Robotech #4, the Titan Comics series by Brian Wood and Marco Turini retelling and rebooting the classic Robotech anime series, but going on its own journey, it's own continuity, its own canon. And taking the rest of the Robotech franchise with it. In the original anime, the major early death at this point was Roy Fokker.
But that has all changed today. And the Robotech website has gone dark to commemorate the event.
Yesterday, Bleeding Cool told you that it was actually Henry Gloval, or Minmei, who bites the bullet at the end of Robotech #4, both heroically fighting off the alien attack.
This death fundamentally changes the landscape and established canon of Robotech in a big way and the hook is set for the future of the story from here…
And here's the moment in question from the final page.
And he is. And the Robotech site goes black…
Robotech #4 is published today.
