Jessica Martin Is Drawing Her Old Doctor Who Character in New Comic

Yesterday, Bleeding Cool twigged that actor and artist Jessica Martin drawing an episode of the Seventh Doctor comic as part of the Doctor Who line might be newsworthy as she appeared as the character Mags in the Doctor Who episode The Greatest Show In The Galaxy back in 1986.

What we hadn't twigged until she tweeted a link to our story was that she'd be drawing herself, as Mags will be appearing in the story.

A number of Doctor Who performers have written Doctor Who-or-related stories over the years, with Jon Barrowman, Nicolas Briggs and Mark Gatiss being the more prominent.

But I think that this is the first time a Doctor Who actor has drawn their own story.
