The Diamond Best Practice Awards Categories For Throughout 2019

Diamond Comic Distributors regularly announced the categories for their retailer Best Practice Awards, rewarding comic book stores who excel in certain areas, three times a year. This time however, for the first time they have announced all the categories for the year ahead in advance.

The awards will be voted on by retailers and announced at retailer summits through the year. King's Comics in Australia don't have to win every category all the time. But they actually enter… and you've got to be in it to win it.

So do you think your comic book store might be in with a shout for the following categories?

SPRING

Nominations open in March.
Winners announced at Summit 2019 (May 18-20)

Best Library/School Program or Event
Best Television Ad
Best Interior Signage

SUMMER

Nominees open in May
Winners announced at SDCC (July 18-21)

Best Kids Section
Best Free Comic Book Day Event
Best Online Ad Campaign
Best Movie Themed Display

FALL

Nominees open in August
Winners announced at NYCC (Oct 3-8)

Best Manga Section
Best Charity Fundraiser
Best Instagram Presence
Best Statues/Models Display
