James Gunn Reveals the Full Cast for "The Suicide Squad", Filming to Start This Month

Warner Bros. is looking to have an interesting year when it comes to their comic book movies. Thus far Joker has been very well received by critics and is looking to do well at the box office. Birds of Prey is right around the corner and James Gunn's The Suicide Squad got more interesting with each new cast member. There have been a lot of rumors about casting since Gunn was brought onto the project but Gunn took to his personal Facebook page to share an image of the full cast for the first time. We also got a look at the logo and it appears the official title is going to be The Suicide Squad.

There are some names on there that we knew about and even some returning cast members like Jai Courney and Margot Robbie. There were debates for a long time whether or not any cast members from the previous movies would return to this new one. At the moment we don't know much about characters or who everyone is playing but we should know more soon. According to ComicBook.com Warner Bros. confirmed to them that shooting is expected to start this month. There are two rumored locations but Warner Bros. did not comment on either of those.

The Suicide Squad is set to release on August 6, 2021.
