The place, the Harrogate Majestic Hotel, or rather now the Doubletree Hilton in big letters and the majestic bit in smaller letters below. The official guest hotel of Thought Bubble's first year in Harrogate and, yes, it was a little bit of an upgrade to Leeds' Radisson Blu. For a start you could move – and I don't just mean Henry Barajas or Roger Langridge on the dance floor. And the facilities deserve an article all to themselves.

But what the event needed, after an open buffet that made some guests suspect they were in San Diego for a second, was someone like me taking out of focus, blurry and badly lit photos in an attempt to somehow try and replicate the society pages of certain magazines, badly.

Harrogate is above such things. The old buildings, the stone walls, the tunnels and bridges that suddenly appear and the views across the fields and trees, filling the town with foxes as you walk back to your AirBNB, what need it of such photographic tomfoolery and prattle?

Oh, it turns out it does have need after all. Fair enough then, who can you spot? We begin with Leah and John Moore-Reppion, Henry dancing and Esad Ribic who has just finished demonstrating the superiority of his hand-size against his drinking compatriots…
