BC Mag #5: Wolverine Set Report

I've never been a sun chaser, always happier in the shade, and I'm actually quite fond of snow. Late last year, though, as British skies were settling in for a few unbroken months of grey, I was packed off to Sydney on a mission for Bleeding Cool. Down there, the Gold Coast's roasting summer was just getting started.
Now, I'm certainly not complaining. Because even before I stepped onto the set and saw with my own two eyes what they were up to, The Wolverine was commanding my attention. I've been looking forward to this film for a very, very long time now.
I suppose the seeds were sewn over a decade ago. Back in 2000, I found myself hooked from the very first minutes of Bryan Singer's first X-Men movie. Those unashamedly serious and dramatically ambitious opening scenes set a tone and some considerable expectations.
