24-Hour Comic Day Saved – DC Blank Comics Now Have 24 Pages in Them
In the new previews for October, DC Comics announced 24-Hour Comic Day publications, black comics with Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman logos on them. But woe of woes, in strict contradiction to the rules of 24-Hour Comic Day in which one has to create a 24-page comic in 24-hour comic timespan, each volume contained only 16 pages.
Was DC Comics about to destroy 24-Hour Comic Day?
Well, the word went out, spun around Burbank and came back — and Bleeding Cool has just been informed that a change has been made. The page count is being upped to 24 pages, in accordance with Scott McCloud, and championed into an international event by Nat Gertler.
So you can buy your DC blank comics with the 24-Hour Comics logo, you can buy Nat Gertler's blank comics without any logo — or just use a pad of paper with 24 pages on it.
The sky is the limit. As long as it's no more than 24 pages…
