DC Joins ComiXology's Retailer Website Programme

When Comixology unveiled their Digital Storefront programme in January with ICV2, placing digital comics for sale on retailer's websites, they were notable missing the Big Two, Marvel and DC, although ComiXology has a relationship with both publishers.

Diamond Distribution then also presented their own similar proposal, Diamond Digital, but again without named support from the big two.

Well ComiXology has managed to get one of them on the record. DC Comics that is. DC titles will be available through ComiXology on retailers' websites, along with the likes of Image, Boom, Dynamite, Antarctic, Bluewater, Com.x, Markosia, Red 5  and more.

Marvel are still the holdout here. But then, isn;t that always the way?
