Evic Oropilla writes from WonderCon for Bleeding Cool;
Moderator Rob Pereyda opened with the animation then introduced the panel. The panel consisted of Rob Paulsen (Emmy Award winner), Dee Bradley Baker (Annie Award nominee), Romi Dames, Murray Bain, Matt Moylan, Dax Gordine, Randy Rogel and Tommy Pedrini.
As each panelist introduced themselves the attendee's could see the instant chemistry between the voice talent Rob, Dee and Romi as they shared stories and bantered back and forth all throughout the panel. It was an amazing thing to witness as each were so passionate introducing their characters. It made me and everyone in the crowd excited to watch each and every episode. The animators, comic and sound talent also shared the same passion as Murray, Matt, Dax Randy and Tommy shared the process each took in creating the Bravoman animation. This was a fun filled panel of really talented people but it was not over yet…
They teased in the panel program description, "there just might be some big Bravoman announcements". What could Shiftylook have up their sleeves for the Bravoman fans attending WonderCon? I am here to tell you that Bravoman will be releasing a new video game, the first one in 25 years! Long Vo, illustrator extraordinaire, demonstrated a beta version of the game and it looks awesome but don't take my word for it check out this 24 second video clip:
Bravoman fans have a lot of exciting things to to look forward to! Rob Pereyda and the Shiftylook crew are producing a lot of top notch content. So if you haven't started reading the webcomic yet get caught up here – Bravoman and be prepared for the web animation and game!
The web animation will have six episodes which will be released once per week and also have two 30 second teasers prior to the episodes running.
An interesting fact from the panel is that Rob Paulsen used George Takei as inspiration for Alphamans' voice
