Astonishing X-Men Gay Wedding Boosts Orders Massively

This week, Marvel's new incentives to retailers to increase their orders of Astonishing X-Men #50, with an eye to selling it a day early, with a large media presence for the presumed gay wedding issue, has seen advance reorders of the book rocket to the top of the chart, with the Create Your Own cover for issue 51 also getting traction.

Remember, this is often the only way retailers can order second and third prints of a book, so their prescence on the chart is exaggerated, as is Hit Girl, hich was missed off the original order form and can also only be ordered in this fashion.

Retailers seem to be warming to the DC New 52 Second Wave, a bunch of titles on last week's chart, and Batman Incorporated on this week's. Crossovers and arcs such as Avengers Vs X-Men, Night Of The Owls, The Culling and Ends Of The Earth are also having a real effect it seems, as people get absorbed by them.
