Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees, A Most Unlikely eBay Hot Comic

Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees by Patrick Horvath published by IDW Publishing may be an unlikley candidate for a hot comic. But it is.

Bleeding Cool has been covering Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees by Patrick Horvath for some time. A new comic book series published by IDW Publishing, with issue 1 published in October last year, issue 2 in December, issue 3 coming in February and issue 4 lined up for March. And sales have exploded with the first two issues getting second prints and the published issues going for lots of money. This is especially unusual as there's no option for a media adaptation announced, and there's no preexisting IP fan base being exploited. Just a furry tale of murder and mayhem, told is a simple, cuddly style. EH Shepherd meets Fargo. 

• A CGC 9.9 graded copy of the New York Comic Con foil cover edition has sold for $900. A CGC 9.8 sold for $270  and raw for $150.
• A standard cover copy of the first issue CGC slabbed at 9.8 sold a couple of copies for $250 each recently. A CGC 9.8 slabb1ed edition of the 1:50 variant sold for only £230 back before Christmas. 
• Outside of the slabs Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees #1 1:50 has sold for $220, the 1:25 has sold for $190, and the raw standard cover has sold for $100.
• The second printing with the Patton Oswalt cover quote has sold for $129 with a CGC 9.8 slab, or $20 raw.

Similar things are happening to Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees #2.

• A CGC 9.8 graded copy of Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees #2 1:50 has sold for, the 1:25 CGC 9.8 has sold for $200 or $48 raw.
• The CGC 9.8 standard print has sold for $120 and the standard raw for $47.
• A second printing CGC 9.8 has sold for $65 and $15 raw.

And Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees #3 has already sold copies of a CGC 9.8 1:25 variant for $170, $50 for the raw version, standard CGC 9.8 covers at $65. and raw for $5.30. and it's not out till February. With similar advance prices for Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees #4 in March. Here's how each issue has been solicited.
