Darth Vader allocation problem allowed book to make TOP 10 list 2 weeks in a row
Convergence tanks, comes in 15th place in sales. However, fans turned their Money over to Indies and Marvel as UfOlogy takes 10th along with Red One from Two week fills sell out. Harley Quinn takes number #1 with Gwen taking second place. Kanan takes 6th spot as only the new generation of Star Wars fans buy the title. Cyclops was on fire with black Vortex tie in and Return of Deadpool continue to bang out the numbers.
Strong week for sales. I assume that people are out for Easter and need things to read. Kanan was the top seller with people not wanting what happened with Vader last week to occur again. Convergance #0 did well, but it better get good quick or i can see people dropping off with the 2nd or 3rd issue.
Flash back-issues were the movers for the week. No specific era, just anything people could get. The show is finally having an effect.
The second part of our Darth Vader 3 order blew out of here on Wednesday. The title is red hot. It easily would have taken the first spot last week had it all shipped together. Batman Eternal 52 was the top dog. Everyone wanted to see how it ends. Convergence 0 is in the top ten at least. Customers seem to be about Convergence and its upcoming spin offs. DC's movie variants are still a big hit. I see that some of them will be used in upcoming T shirts. Cool.
Lots of people came in looking for Kanan #1, but even a new Star Wars series couldn't beat Spidey and the start of DC's Convergence event. We sold out of Cyclops #12, further cementing the fact that Black Vortex is becoming a major sleeper hit. I was surprised to see Uncanny Inhumans so low on the list, it seems like no matter how hard Marvel pushes the Inhumans, our customers just don't seem to care. Great to see Southern Bastards make the top ten. That book brings people out in droves and continues to be well worth the wait.
Speaking of Black Vortex, more and more people have been in stocking up on the series. We've also had a lot of people coming in and snatching up Superman issues and Batman Eternal now that the final issue is out.
