The Con That Banned Cosplay Now Bans Discussion About Cosplay

Bleeding Cool's story about Elite Con, a comic convention in Florida this Sunday that made a point of banning cosplay through its doors without exception, went viral rather.

If you go in a bow tie, expect to be challenged over your resemblance to the Eleventh Doctor. Trenchcoats will be banned for fear of resembling John Constantine. And bald men in suits will be challenged over their resemblance to Lex Luthor.

There were thousands of posts posted to the Elite Con Facebook page. Not any more though. Their moderators must be rather busy right now as they have vowed to delete each and every one of them…
