Dan Jurgens Takes Over Writing And Drawing Firestorm

JLI was cancelled. Green Arrow changed its creative team. So did Superman. So what, for the man George Perez described as one of the most prodigious talents in comics?

Well, Dan Jurgens is taking on The Fury Of Firestorm:The Nuclear Men in October with issue 13. Writing and pencilling, with Ray McCarthy inking. In what DC describe as "a whole new direction beginning this issue".

The title has had a little trouble, creatively, with co-writer Gail Simone walking off the book, to be replaced by Joe Harris, soon to be followed leaving the book by the other co-writer Ethan Van Sciver. Artist Yildiray Cinar stayed on the book, and both he and Harris are credited on the solicitation for issue 0 in September.
