DC Comics Delays Bendis and Maleev's Cover #6 Finale by 3 Weeks But Adds 9 Pages

I confess to have thoroughly enjoyed Brian Bendis and Alex Maleev's reworking of Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind for the comic book industry. Even if it has transformed the lovely Esad Ribic into a psychotic East European agent Esad Simms.

And now we get a little more. If a little later. The finale, Cover #6, has slipped from the 20th of February to the 13th of March. But it will now have a 29-page story to finish the mini-series – and still at $3.99.

"David and I are so deeply grateful to the readers and retailers who have spread the word about COVER," says Bendis. "We came up with some extra fun ideas for the last issue and we thought the added pages were also the best way to say thank you."

In this 29-page concluding chapter, it's an industry dinner in Brazil, and comic book creator Max finds himself juggling his responsibilities as a spy for the United States government and his role as a member of the creative community!

COVER will return next year-but this shocking conclusion will have people talking about what is-and isn't-true in this "based on a true story" story.

Yeah, it's not true.

Meanwhile, the collection of Bendis's Fire comic in a new edition from DC Comics has jumped from $12.99 to $14.99 – with no added pages. As a result, DC Comics is making the book returnable.
